We lost her dam, who we nick named “Mamma Wietske” when Weesi was a yearling. Wietske got her name from always being the “mamma” of the herd and always watching over everyone. Khaleesi has followed right in her footsteps and sometimes it feels as though Wietske never left!
Khaleesi’s sire, Frans, is local to Southern Alberta and is enjoyed as an all around mount during the breeding off season. He is incredibly athletic and highly intelligent. Fran’s sire, Tietse 428 sport, was a Grand Prix dressage stallion and is well known in Friesian breeding. Her grandsire on the dam side, Feitse 293, sired 6 approved sons and many ster and model mares.
Weesi has produced us several wonderful babies since 2022.
She is negative for both hydrocephalus and dwarfism.

Khaleesi, affectionately known as “Weesi” is our first ever home bred foal! It took us 2 years to welcome her, so you’d be right in thinking she was a much anticipated baby!
Weesi is extremely athletic and light on her feet. She has a very sweet demeanour to her and is extremely trainable. She is always the first to investigate a change to the pasture and the first to greet you at the gate
